About us

We aren’t just a website.
We’re a small circle of storytellers who see bedtime as sacred.
In our homes, a story is a hug; it’s the final echo of the day and the first whisper of dreams.
Each evening our founders, parents, teachers, and writers, draw from their own childhood memories to create tales that help kids drift into sleep with a smile.

Our Roots
Our team comes from every corner of life.
Some of us grew up listening to fairies under the glow of a single lamp; others recall grandparents weaving legends around the kitchen table.
Today, we bring those traditions to your family.
We start with an idea – an animal that needs a friend, a child who learns to share – and we shape it into a story that fits snugly into ten minutes.
We read each draft aloud, listening for rhythm and feeling for warmth.
What We Do
From brave princesses who outwit dragons to gentle bears who find home, our stories are built to delight and calm.
We want to open a door to a world where kindness, courage and curiosity are celebrated. Each tale is short enough to fit into a busy night yet full enough to carry your child into a world of imagination.
We design our stories to suit different moods, whether you’re after a playful adventure or a quiet reflection, always mindful of bedtime’s peaceful purpose.

Why Stories Matter
Science backs up what our hearts have always known.
(Why Is It Important to Read to Your Child? – Child Mind Institute)
Reading to children from a young age helps build the pathways in their brains needed for language and literacy.
Books introduce new words and ways of speaking that children might not hear otherwise.
Sharing stories also teaches empathy because kids see the world through another’s eyes. And the simple act of curling up with a book strengthens the bond between you and your child, nurturing emotional health and brain development.
Bedtime reading has even been linked to better sleep and behaviour.
A study from Penn State University found that children with consistent bedtimes, often anchored by a story, were better able to regulate their emotions and social behaviour.

Other research shows that a bedtime story can help kids fall asleep faster and resist bedtime less.
Reading together also supports vocabulary, print awareness and long‑term reading success. Simply put, these bedtime moments are not only sweet; they build strong brains and compassionate hearts.
Our Mission and Goals
Our mission is to bring that gentle magic into every home!
We aim to craft stories that inspire, comfort and ignite curiosity.
We celebrate diverse characters and journeys so every child can see themselves on the page.
At the same time, we want to make it easy for busy parents to share these moments. By offering a wide range of tales, with different themes, lengths and tones, we hope to be part of your nightly ritual. Our goal is to make bedtime the highlight of the day, to strengthen family bonds and to plant seeds of kindness, courage and imagination.
